I met Karen Pamintuan when she hosted the Asian Institute of Asia anniversary event. She struck me as a genuine natural beauty that comes across as a well educated, hi-born Filipino, but to go further, I must say she also represents the classy Asian woman of our times and she is definately would be an international TV host that Asia can be proud of.

Typo error by Derek. We were at the same event. Karen was an excellent host. The event was for the anniversary party of AIM, or the Asian Institute of Asia.

i,ve seen photos of Karen is styled for teen audience, and she is sweet & innocent in seventeen mag photos, but my fav styling of her is a more feminine look >very hi end pose she did for cosmopolitan magazine.
focus in her photos are the eyes, her porcelain perfect skin tone & those lips…>she is very lovely, & great to display diamonds, or strands of pearl jewelry on that graceful neck,,..her pictorials are mostly in color but the uno struck me as very different to see her in black and white looking amazonian on the cover ,,>…terrific to have a good model to style like her – it takes a chameleon to change looks

Wasnt happy with her hosting. It did not look genuine. It looked like she was just doing her job and she sucked at it.
One can wonder what “genuine” is to certain crowds? I think that means the opposite, as if the host is faking enthusiasm? I think as an organizer of a business event, one defines the duties of a host. If you won’t pay the price, you don’t expect a host to put on an act, or do comedy, or to give a speech, sing or dance.You expect the host to function wherein your company personalities that come in to do the talking during segments…sometimes what some events organizers want is some big time artista or talent who will entertain, rather than perform the function of hosting. Then be prepared to pay the big money for you want an entertainer, who can host, versus a host who won’t overpower an event which is not focused on entertainment like Karen who did her job very well!
Rhea, why don’t you try hosting para makita mo if YOU suck. I’m from AIM and I thought she did a great job! Hirap nga yan with all the oldies, I was with my dad, funny nga siya at least she knew some of the songs! I like her. Good post Mike! Rhea’s jealous why is she even on finefilipinas.com kung babae? HA HA

Vicky Herrera is pretty ! not in the same category tho….maybe Vicky is more in the league of women over 40
