this is very bad news for the philippines. is this a sign of corruption? as sign that filipinos will do whatever it takes just to achieve their dreams? and i mean whatever it takes, even if it means stepping on people’s dignity? what will then happen in the future? too bad. i knew the philippines had hope in winning miss universe with miss raj but now, i think she can’t even make it in the first cut. oh well, good luck crushing other peoples dreams.

Ok guys, I understand Filipinos are VERY opinionated and kudos for that, however, let US just all embrass what is here for us. Sometimes, in general, there are just things that are meant and bound to happen sooner or later, positive or negative wise. In this case, win or loose, let’s US all support our new Miss Philippines 2010 for Miss Universe 2010! Ok, basta manalo Philippines, ok? So chill lang and just cheer on, besides, either way, they ARE both Miss U quality. Cheers!!

You go May. I respect the pageant’s decision not to reward dishonesty.

With all due respect, TG, but Venus was never dishonest about her knowledge regarding her birth. She was a baby when her birth certificate was processed and she had no hand in what details were put on it. what she did know were what her mom told her (on that note, her aunt filed for the birth certificate without Venus’ mother’s knowledge)- and she was quite blunt and open in all the recorded interviews of her (including those for the pageant). Honest mistakes, but not dishonesty.

I do think that Nicolette was more articulate in the Q&A portion and i think she is both smart and beautiful. She’d do well in representing the Philippines. However, i reiterate my point that there was no dishonesty or malicious intent on the part of Venus.

Before I forget, the pageant has reinstated Venus. Will you respect that still?

When I saw Miss Raj, I was certain that the Philippines would be in the top 5 at Miss Universe and perhaps win it. It was very likely. With all due respect, I would bet a great deal of money that Philippines does not make top 15. Too bad for the Philippines
